Consul General met with Police Senior staff at Istanbul Airport

On 19 September 2019, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, met with Deniz Engin, Director for Security of the Istanbul Airport, and representatives of the Directorate General for Migration Management of the Turkish Interior Ministry.

The Belarusian diplomat was given insight into certain particulars of policing at the new Istanbul-based airport, discussed concrete ways of co-operation in the case of emergencies involving Belarusian nationals. The parties agreed to maintain a close contact.
