On May 2, 2014 the internal procedures of the Agreement on the Mutual Abolition of Visas and the Agreement of Readmission between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Turkey were completed.

From June 1, 2014 citizens of the two countries will have opportunity to visa-free travel.

In accordance with the Agreement on mutual abolition of visas citizens of Belarus may stay in Turkey up to 30 days continuously from the date of their entry to the country. The total duration of stay should not exceed 90 days in any one year from the date of first entry.

However, citizens of Belarus who want to stay in Turkey for a period of over 30 days, as well as to work, study, carry out researches and (or) reunite a family should apply for a visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Belarus.

A similar procedure applies to the citizens of Turkey.

NB: The foreign citizens, who have the right to enter the Republic of Belarus without visa and are obliged to have the medical insurance policy, should submit the medical insurance policy or medical insurance card that is valid on the territory of Belarus to the employees of the State Border Committee when entering the Republic of Belarus.
