Belarus delegation attending EMITT and presenting tourism opportunities in the Consulate General

On 5 February 2024, the Consulate General of Belarus in Istanbul hosted a presentation of tourism opportunities and infrastructure of Belarus for Turkish travel associations and tour operators.

The event which brought together around 30 tourism professionals saw an informed dialogue about the prospects of bilateral co-operation.

Amid a live discussion, introductory remarks were made by Aleksei Shved, Consul General of Belarus in Istanbul, Dzmitry Marozau, director of the National Tourism Agency, executives of Belavia National Airline and President Hotel.

On 6-9 February a high-profile Belarusian delegation is scheduled to attend the 27th East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition. The exhibition will provide a venue for the National Stand of Belarus and multiple bilateral meetings across the international tourism community.
