Visa Free Travel between Belarus and Turkey

From 2014, citizens of Belarus and Turkey may travel visa-free.

Under the Agreement on Mutual Abolition of Visas, citizens of Turkey may stay in Belarus for a maximum period of 30 days continuously from the date of their entry into the country. Totally, a stay may not exceed 90 days in any given year from the date of the first entry.

However, citizens of Turkey wishing to overstay 30 days in Belarus or intending to work, study, research and/or reunite with their family should apply for a Belarusian visa in Ankara (Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Turkey) or in Istanbul (this Consulate General).

NB: Foreign citizens who may travel to the Republic of Belarus visa-free but should have insurance coverage are expected to produce a Belarus-covering insurance policy or card to the Immigration Control staff as they cross the border of the Republic of Belarus.
