Belarus represented at Eurasian Higher Education Summit

On 27 February 2024, a three-day Eurasian Higher Education Summit kicked off in Istanbul, a venue set for exchanging views on global trends in the development of higher education and negotiations on mutually beneficial inter-university contacts.

The Belarusian national stand “Education in Belarus” was opened at the high-profile summit, and the Belarusian delegation including the Belarusian State Economic University, Belarusian State Technological University, Baranavichy State University, Brest State Technical University (remotely), and Center for International Relations under the Ministry of Education of Belarus were in attendance.

Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, was part of the opening of the Summit. Along with Turkish specialists, the Eurasian expert community showed interest in the capacity of the Belarusian education system.
