Consul General meeting with Representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Turkey

On 3 December 2019, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, met with Sefa Gömdeniz, Representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Turkey.

At the meeting the bilateral agenda was explored for the nearest months to come, including exchange of delegations between the chambers of commerce and industry of both countries and stronger engagement of businesses. In particular, arrangements were discussed for Sefa Gömdeniz to take part in the working visit of Youri Troushchenko, Head of Minsk’s Sovietsky District Administration, as the delegation of this District is expected to visit Istanbul on 8-10 December 2019.

The parties have also agreed about co-operation for the opening of the Belarusian Friendship Society in Istanbul.
