10.07.2026

The Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul and Medicana Health Group have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at ensuring broader access for Belarusian citizens to high-quality medical services in Türkiye and a number of other countries. The document was signed by the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, Yauheniya Bartkevich, and Board Member of Medicana Health Group, Berk Bozkurt.

Under the agreement, citizens of the Republic of Belarus who permanently reside in Türkiye, transit through the country or visit it as tourists may apply to clinics within the Medicana network and receive medical services with a 30 percent discount. To benefit from these preferential conditions, it is sufficient to present a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus when contacting a medical institution.

Medicana Health Group unites a number of multidisciplinary clinics in Türkiye as well as medical centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom, which will allow Belarusian citizens to make use of the services of this partner not only in Türkiye but also beyond its borders.

An important element of the cooperation is access to the services of Medicana Airport Medical Center, located at Istanbul International Airport and providing round-the-clock emergency medical care to passengers. The concluded agreement is an important step towards strengthening practical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Türkiye in the humanitarian sphere and is aimed at providing additional protection for the rights and interests of Belarusian citizens abroad.
