On the working visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus to Izmir

On 1 December, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, Yauheniya Bartkevich, paid a working visit to Izmir together with representatives of the National Centre for Marketing, the High Technologies Park of the Republic of Belarus and the Great Stone Industrial Park.

During the visit, presentations of Belarus’ export and investment potential, as well as the opportunities of the High Technologies Park and the Great Stone Industrial Park for the implementation of joint projects with Turkish partners, were held at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce and the Aegean Region Young Businessmen Association (EGIAD).

Special attention during the meetings was paid to the development of cooperation in the fields of high technologies, industrial production and logistics, as well as to creating favourable conditions for Belarusian and Turkish companies to enter third-country markets.

In addition, a meeting was held with the management of ORION Fair, the organizer of the international agricultural exhibition AgroExpo, which will take place in February 2026 in Izmir. The participation of Belarusian enterprises in this event will be an important step in promoting national agricultural products and technologies on the Turkish market.
