Consul General visiting Ҫanakkale

On 21-22 October 2024, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of Belarus in Istanbul, travelled to Ҫanakkale for a working visit.

During the trip, the Belarusian diplomat together with the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Canakkale Rıdvan Demirhan met with the Governor of Ҫanakkale Ömer Toraman, Mayor of Ҫanakkale Muharrem Erkek and Rector of the 18 March University Cüneyt Erenoğlu.

During the meetings, the parties explored prospects of stronger regional and inter-municipal engagement with Belarus and sectoral co-operation, agreed about new arrangements in the short run.
