DEİK Forum with the Participation of the President of Türkiye Took Place in Istanbul

Today, a major DEİK forum was held in Istanbul, featuring the 39th Ordinary Financial General Assembly and the 5th “Respect to the Masters of Trade” Award Ceremony. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who delivered a speech on the priorities of the country's foreign economic policy and the significance of reliable international partners.

The Minister of Trade of Türkiye, Ömer Bolat, also addressed the forum, highlighting export growth, support for high-tech industries, and new opportunities for international business.

The Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, Evgeniya Bortkevich, took part in the event. On the sidelines of the forum, a discussion was held with Fatih Işık, the Chairperson of the Turkish part of the Türkiye–Belarus Business Council representing DEİK.

During the meeting, the sides discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Türkiye, prospects for joint projects, mutual investments, as well as developing cooperation in industry, logistics, and the service sector. Efforts to strengthen Belarusian-Turkish business contacts will continue in the interests of the business communities of both countries.
