Belarusian Business Delegation Working in Istanbul

30.04.2026

A delegation from the Republic of Belarus, including representatives of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and various Belarusian enterprises, is currently on a business visit to Istanbul. The visit aims to develop direct contacts with Turkish business circles and expand practical cooperation in promising areas of bilateral partnership.

As part of the visit program, a meeting was held with the Anadolu Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON), bringing together business representatives from Belarus and Turkey. B2B negotiations took place at the association's venue, during which the parties discussed specific opportunities for industrial cooperation, trade interaction, and the implementation of joint projects.

The Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, Evgeniya Bortkevich, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants. In her address, she noted the vast potential for Belarus-Turkey interaction in industry, construction, the agro-industrial complex, logistics, the textile industry, and the supply of mineral fertilizers. She also emphasized the favorable conditions for establishing Turkish enterprises on the territory of Belarus.

A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI and ASKON. The reached agreements are intended to facilitate the expansion of direct business contacts, promote joint initiatives, and further intensify the Belarusian-Turkish business dialogue.

Another significant result of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum between the Minsk City Technopark and Technopark Istanbul. This document opens up additional opportunities for developing partnerships in high-tech fields, including microelectronics, robotics, laser technologies, and biotechnology.

The Belarusian delegation is also participating in the international construction exhibition YAPI – TurkeyBuild Istanbul 2026.

Holding such events contributes to the further strengthening of the Belarusian-Turkish economic partnership, the expansion of cooperation ties, and the creation of new opportunities for the businesses of both countries.
