Consul General of Belarus in Istanbul met with the Chairman of the Sakarya Production and Trade Council

On September 22, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul Evgeniya Bortkevich held a meeting with a Turkish delegation led by Ozkan Pinar, Chairman of the Production and Trade Council of Sakarya Province (ÜTİK).

During the talks, the parties discussed promising areas for the development of Belarusian-Turkish trade and economic cooperation, as well as ways to expand industrial cooperation and implement joint investment projects.
The participants paid special attention to interregional interaction. In particular, they examined in detail the practical implementation of the existing sister-city agreement between Vitebsk and Sakarya, the organization of mutual business visits, and the preparation of a return visit of the Vitebsk Region delegation to the Turkish province.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening direct contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries, promoting new commercial initiatives, and intensifying bilateral exchanges in the production and trade sectors.
