About participation in the International Fiber and Yarn Exhibition in Istanbul

On March 26-27, 2026, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul Evgeniya Bortkevich took part in the 22nd International exhibition of fibers and yarns "International Istanbul Yarn Fair".

The event featured the flagships of the petrochemical industry of Belarus within the framework of the joint stand of the Belneftekhim concern. Among them are the largest producer of petrochemical products, including polyacrylonitrile fibers, JSC NAFTAN, one of the leading manufacturers of glass fiber in the CIS, JSC Polotsk-Fiberglass, as well as the Chemical Fiber Plant, JSC Grodno Azot.

The Istanbul Yarn Fair brings together more than 500 companies, over 16,000 specialists and representatives of industry manufacturers, presenting a wide range of yarns and raw materials. Due to the extensive audience of professional visitors from Europe, Asia and the Balkans, the Istanbul Yarn Fair is deservedly the largest meeting place for global manufacturers.

During the exhibition, the Consul General held a number of business meetings and negotiations, several B2B sessions with representatives of regional industry companies and foreign partners, and discussed with exporters and importers plans to supply Belarusian products to the Turkish market this year.
