Consul General travelling to Kütahya

On 17-18 December 2020, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, made a working trip to Kütahya, one of the central provinces in the consular district.

In the course of a constructive dialogue with Dr Alim Işik, Mayor of Kütahya, the parties exchanged views about the possibilities of stronger interregional co-operation. Special focus was given to the development of economic relations.

At a meeting with Ismet Özotraç, Chairman of Board, Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a number of projects in industrial and investment co-operation were explored. The parties agreed to take a closer look at the exchange of visits between Belarus and Kütahyan business community next year.
