Consul General met with Rector of Maltepe University

 On 26 December 2018, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, met with Dr Prof Şahin Karasar, Rector of Maltepe University. The Belarusian diplomat informed about the higher educational system in the Republic of Belarus.

The rector showed interest in the co-operation with Belarusian universities in engineering and technology, medical and humanitarian areas, academic exchanges, invitation of professorial staff to Turkey for lecturing.

The University is ready to host museum exhibitions about Belarusian history and culture to raise awareness of the Belarus-Turkey co-operation.
