Consul General holds meeting with Head of Chamber of Commerce in Çorlu

On August 19, 2014 the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul Mr. Igor Bely payed a working visit to the Çorlu region in the Province of Tekirdağ (Turkish Republic).

During the meeting with the head of the Chamber of Commerce of the region Mr. Enis Sülün the parties discussed the development of the Belarusian-Turkish trade and economic relations, increasing trade between the two countries, as well as prospects of cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of the regions. The Turkish side expressed interest in establishing direct contacts with the Belarusian business associations.

Mr. Bely and Mr.Sülün also discussed the forthcoming visit of the delegation of the regional authorities and members of the Chamber of Commerce of Çorlu to Belarus. The delegation is expected to take part in the 21-th International specialized exhibition “Furniture — 2015” to be held in Minsk from 17 to 20 September 2014.
