Consul General visiting Çorlu

On 27 January 2021, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, travelled to Çorlu, Province of Tekirdağ, for a working visit.

During another meeting with Ahmet Sarıkurt, Mayor of Çorlu, Aleksei Shved responded to the December initiative of the Turkish counterpart by presenting a proposal of Bobruisk City Executive Committee to establish twinning links. The parties agreed about how to further go ahead in the interregional context.

On the same day, the Belarusian diplomat together with a delegation of 8 March OJSC visited a few Çorlu-based machine-building manufacturing facilities to hold business talks.
