The Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul took part in the international exhibition Texhibition Istanbul, dedicated to fabrics, yarn, and textile accessories.

At the official opening ceremony, welcoming remarks were delivered by Volkan Agar, Deputy Minister of Trade of Turkey; Ahmet Oksüz, President of the Istanbul Textile Exporters’ Association; and Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

According to the organizers, more than 500 leading companies in the textile industry participated in the exhibition, including major producers of fabrics, yarn, and accessories, as well as innovative brands from Turkey and other countries. The exhibition was attended by over 22,000 visitors from 112 countries, among them representatives of Belarusian companies: Orsha Linen Mill, Slonim Worsted Spinning Factory, Modny Print LLC, and ALetto.

During the event, representatives of Belarusian companies held meetings with international partners, discussed cooperation prospects and signed contracts for the supply of textile products.
